Potion's Belt
by Scr0ols
Potion's Belt gives players a dedicated 27-slot belt for carrying drinkable potions and empty bottles, so a potion can be drunk mid-fight without opening a menu.
What it does
The belt is a single item that holds a 3x9 container reserved for potions. Drinkable potions and empty bottles can go into it, which keeps them out of the hotbar. Drinking works column by column from the container, so a healing potion can be reached faster than digging through the hotbar or opening a GUI during a fight.
Consumption logic runs on the server, so multiplayer requires the mod on both server and client. Fabric API is a required dependency on Fabric and must be installed alongside Potion's Belt. The mod is published for Fabric and NeoForge, with files for 26.3 and earlier builds in the 1.21.11 – 26.3 range.
Potion's Belt is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. The source code, issue tracker and wiki are public, and the wiki holds the installation steps and a translations page for players who want to add a localization.
Key features
Dedicated potion container
A 27-slot belt accepts drinkable potions and empty bottles only, keeping them separate from other items.
Column-based drinking
Potions are consumed by column from the container, which shortens the path to a healing potion during combat.
Quick use without a GUI
Drinking from the belt does not require opening an inventory screen, so the action stays available mid-fight.
Translation support
A wiki translations page explains how to add a language file for the belt's text.

Who it’s for: Players who carry many potions and want them grouped in one item. Server owners who run a survival or PvP server where quick healing matters.
How it compares
Stackable Potions is a Fabric and NeoForge mod for 1.21 – 26.1, client and server, open source under the MIT License, so it stacks potions rather than holding them in a belt. Traveler Tool Belt is a Fabric, Forge and NeoForge mod for 1.20.1 – 26.3, client and server, closed source under All rights reserved, and it covers tools rather than potions. Pokebelt [Cobblemon] is a Fabric and NeoForge mod for 1.21.1 only, client and server, under the MIT License, with a focus on Pokémon.
