Pop
by ErrorMikey
With Pop, modpack developers can show on-screen text boxes at chosen screen positions, triggered by commands or by KubeJS scripts.
What it does
For modpack builders, Pop is a compact utility that places extra information screens at more locations. It lets them display information on screen at more positions than the default layout allows. A display is created with a command that sets its place on the screen, for example middle left, followed by the text to show. The same displays can also be built from KubeJS scripts, either through the screen command route or through the Pop Manager and Pop Builder objects that KubeJS exposes.
The mod supports translations, so text shown to players can come from language files. Its author describes progress bars, headings and subheadings, further customisation through commands and extra text animations as planned features, not part of the current release. The mod runs on client and server, so both sides need it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the code is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, so it is open source.
Key features
Commands for text screens
A command creates an information display, sets its screen location and writes its message, with no code required.
KubeJS access
KubeJS scripts can reach the Pop Manager and Pop Builder objects to create displays from within a pack.
Translation support
Display text supports translations, so the same display can show localized strings from language files.
Additional screen locations
Displays can be placed in more screen positions than the standard information layout offers.

What the author says
Pop is a small helper mod for modpack developers to allow for more screen locations to display information on screen in a command driven, or kubejs driven way. Alternatively, you can use KubeJS to access the Pop Manager and the Pop Builder.
