Pony Origins Lite gives players pony-themed origins for a datapack world called Equestria, and it needs Origins to run.

What it does

The mod is a datapack that replaces vanilla origins with origins made for the Equestria world. Four-legged creatures roam a blocky multiverse version of Minecraft, and the origins add abilities that fit that setting. The Equestria goats can climb most vertical surfaces and ram things with their horns with minimal damage to themselves, and the Midwest Equestria bison gain Earth Pony strength and more resistance to cold. Charge is an ability that uses the horns to ram an opponent.

Installation needs Fabric and Origins, and Origins is the required dependency that the mod extends. Figura is optional, and it can supply a custom player model. Pony Origins Lite runs on the server side only, so players join without installing it. Files exist for Minecraft 1.20 and 1.20.1 on Fabric, under a custom license that is not open source. The latest file is 0.9-a4 for 1.20.1, an alpha build from 2026-03-12.
