Polymorph+
by aminoquiz
When one ingredient set matches several recipes, Polymorph+ lets players pick the result from a selector beside the output slot, and the chosen recipe is remembered.
What it does
Polymorph+ handles crafting and smithing cases where the same inputs produce more than one result. A button appears above the output slot whenever the ingredients match more than one recipe, and a click or scroll opens a selector that lists the candidates. The selection persists while the input stays the same, and the choice is saved per block, including block entities driven by redstone automation, so it holds across world reloads. The same selector appears inside the vanilla Crafter screen and for smithing transforms.
The mod works in both single-player and multiplayer. Favourites are given priority, and a datapack file can set a preferred order that favourites follow the next time a modpack starts. Addons extend it to Occultism, Extended Crafting and Applied Energistics 2. It requires Fabric API and MixinBooter. Polymorph+ is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 11 release versions, 1.12.2 – 26.3, and is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later. This port is maintained by aminoquiz and is unofficial; the original mod is by TheIllusiveC4.
