PolyMc-Extra
by SAGUMEDREAM
PolyMc-Extra is a Fabric library for server owners that patches Polymer-based content and registers extra model and entity mappings for Polymer.
What it does
Players do not need to install this library. It runs on the server alone, so clients join without any extra step. Its job is to scan the JAR files of required resources, generate the resource packages those mods depend on, and automatically patch mods that regular players do not need to install.
Beyond patching, the library registers built-in model types and special entity mappings, and it finds its entry points in the execute module through PolyMcExtraEntrypoint. It also checks the integrity of item components and documents how to use some of its supporting libraries, including Polymer and blockbench-import-library. A module uses ASM to modify certain enums and replace Vanilla registry entries, which can prevent some abnormal errors.
Polymer is the required dependency and must be installed alongside PolyMc-Extra. The library is published for Fabric only, across eight release versions 1.21.6 – 26.1.2, with beta builds for the newest game versions. It is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and it is open source.
