PlayerCoordsAPI
by Sukikui
PlayerCoordsAPI lets other applications read the local player's coordinates over a small HTTP endpoint, without reading game memory or the screen.
What it does
The mod runs a lightweight HTTP server bound only to localhost, which provides the player's position in real time. Outside programs can poll that endpoint to follow where the player is, instead of capturing the screen or reading the game's memory. Requests that carry an Origin header are handled in one of three modes: local origins, a whitelist of allowed origins written as scheme, host or IP with an optional port, or another configured rule set.
The mod is client-side only, so only the client needs it, and it works in both singleplayer and multiplayer. It requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional; with Mod Menu, players can enable or disable the API, change the port from the default 25565, and configure the origin rules. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt, and the code is open source under the MIT License, with the latest build 0.2.1+mc26.3 for 26.3 released on 2026-09-29.
Key features
Real-time position endpoint
A single HTTP endpoint returns the local player's coordinates while the game is running.
Localhost-only server
The HTTP server listens on localhost, so the coordinates are not offered to other machines on the network.
Origin handling
Requests carrying an Origin header are handled in one of three modes, including a whitelist of allowed origins.
Configurable port and toggle
The port can be changed from the default 25565, and the API can be enabled or disabled through Mod Menu.
