Zigy's Player Animator API
by ZigyTheBird
Zigy's Player Animator API lets other mods play player animations from the server side or the client side.
What it does
Animations can be started from code on either the server or the client, and a server-side command can also trigger them. Because it is a library, it adds no items or blocks of its own and is meant to be used by other mods. It requires Fabric API and playerAnimator, and four catalog mods depend on it, including Shield Overhaul and Jujutsu Kaisen. Both the server and every player need it, and it is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Synced motion for players
Animations started from server code appear the same way for every connected player.
Local effects
An animation can be started on a single player's own client for effects only that player should see.
Command trigger
A server-side command can start an animation on a chosen player without any extra mod code.
