Player Search

by KGriffon

Player Search lets a player look up another player's skin, UUID and name history from a command, and it only works for players who are on the same server.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.20 – 1.21.1

What it does

Typing the search command opens a search interface where a player can enter a name and see that player's UUID, skin and name history. The lookup covers only players currently present on the same server as the user, so it cannot reach accounts that are offline or on other servers. A second command lets a player search by name history for a player on the same server, and a separate command opens an interface listing the mods installed on the server.

The mod runs on Fabric for Minecraft 1.20 – 1.21.1, and its published builds cover 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.1. Fabric API is required, and it must be installed alongside Player Search. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it. The code is available as source, and the project is open source under the MIT License.

What is it? is a Fabric mod for 1.20 – 1.21.4 released under All rights reserved, so its terms differ from Player Search's MIT License. EasyInventorySearch is a Fabric client mod for 1.21.10 under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and it searches inventories rather than players. Search Ids is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, is server-side only and targets 1.20.4, so it runs on the server alone.
