PlayClock

by Erotoro

PlayClock, a Fabric mod by Erotoro, shows how long a player has spent in each multiplayer server and singleplayer world, directly inside the game.

FabricClient-side onlyGNU General Public License v3.0 or laterOpen source1.21.11 – 26.1.2

What it does

Playtime is tracked for multiplayer servers, singleplayer worlds and LAN or direct connect servers, including Realms in the current release. The totals appear in a HUD overlay with several layout styles, as markers on server and world lists, and as hover tooltips with detailed time information. A header summary is added to list screens, and the stats menu carries markers as well. Figures for today, the current session and the last played date are kept alongside the total.

Playtime data is stored locally on the device, and singleplayer time is saved reliably when a player leaves the world or closes the client. Per-server and per-world playtime cards can be shared, and weekly and monthly recaps summarize play habits. Hotkeys and custom colors are available, and the Mod Menu entry offers deeper customization. The mod needs only the client, so no server software, commands or external tools are involved. It is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source. Files cover 1.21.11 – 26.1.2, with 1.2.0 for 26.1.2 as the latest Fabric build.

  4. Shareable cards and recaps

Per-server and per-world cards can be exported and shared, and weekly and monthly recaps summarize activity.

Questions

Does PlayClock need to be installed on the server?

No. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it.

Does PlayClock work with Realms?

Yes. Realms is supported in the current release, alongside multiplayer servers and singleplayer worlds.

Where is playtime data saved?

Playtime data is stored locally on the device, so the figures stay with the client that tracked them.
