Pixel's Batsuits adds Batman suits from the live-action films and TV series, which players wear to become the character in survival and adventure play.

What it does

Each suit is an armor set that a player equips to take on a particular Batman look, drawn from film and television portrayals including Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson. Suits from other adaptations have not been ported yet.

The mod requires Fabric API and Geckolib, and runs on Fabric and Quilt. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the latest file for 1.21.1 is marked alpha. The Alpha build has no crafting recipes yet, so suits are not craftable in that version. The project is a fan work; Batman is owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC.

The code is under the MIT License and is open source. The author restarted the 1.21.1 port after ongoing issues with an earlier Batman mod, and added the Val Kilmer sonar suit in memory of the actor.

Does Pixel's Batsuits need Geckolib?

Yes. Geckolib is a required dependency alongside Fabric API, so both must be installed for the mod to load.

Does a server need the mod installed?

Yes. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too.

Can suits be crafted in the current version?

Not yet. The alpha build for 1.21.1 has no crafting recipes, so suits are only available through other means in that build.

What the author says

I decided to start over when porting this mod to 1.21.1, due to the ongoing issues with the Hellbat and Batman Beyond suits. To honor the memory of Val Kilmer, his sonar suit from Batman Forever has been added. All the other suits outside of the live action suits have yet to be ported. I will update here when suits…
