Pigmentum API
Pigmentum API lets players paint the surfaces of blocks in Minecraft with a paintbrush, adding pixel-level drawing to the game's block textures.
What it does
Holding a paintbrush and right-clicking a block surface turns that face into a canvas, and the painted pixels blend into the block. Each of the six faces of a block can be painted separately, so the top, bottom and four sides can carry different designs. Irregular blocks such as stairs, slabs and fences can also be painted, with pixel-level precision on their shapes.
Holding right-click and dragging draws smooth, continuous lines without gaps, even when the cursor moves quickly. A sneak right-click copies one face of a painted block onto a Canvas Sheet item without removing the original, so a design can be reused elsewhere. The mod is built for NeoForge and targets only 1.21.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. It is released under the MIT License and is open source.
