Personal Peaceful
Personal Peaceful lets server owners pick individual players who ignore hostile mobs while the rest of the server keeps normal mob behavior.
What it does
Selected players are protected from hostile mobs, so monsters ignore them, and creepers still attack protected players only when the rule allows it. The world's difficulty stays unchanged, so a server running Hard difficulty keeps it for everyone else. Protected players continue playing Hard difficulty and face the same environment as the rest of the server; only the mobs' targeting changes.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and it is published for Fabric and 26.2 alone. Players are stored by UUID, and an optional OP requirement decides who may change the list. When the requirement is set, only operators manage Personal Peaceful. When it is cleared, regular players can add or remove themselves, but they cannot change other players.
Commands are simple, and the protection applies per account, which suits multiplayer servers where some players want a calmer experience. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker on GitHub for requests.
Key features
Per-player protection
Selected players are marked, and hostile mobs ignore them while everyone else meets normal mob behavior.
Unchanged difficulty
The world keeps its difficulty setting, so protected players still play Hard difficulty and the rest of the server is unaffected.
UUID-based player storage
Protected players are recorded by UUID, so the list stays tied to the account rather than the player name.
Optional OP requirement
Server owners can limit changes to operators or let regular players add and remove themselves.
Simple commands
Commands manage the protected list, and players can only change their own entry when the OP requirement is off.

How it compares
Not-So-Peaceful: Hunger & Friends! is server-side only for 26.2, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and changes more of the game than this mod, which only affects mob targeting. Hostile World is a client and server mod for 26.2 – 26.3 under the MIT License and not open source, so every player installs it. Mild runs on client and server for 1.20.1 – 26.2 under the MIT License and is open source.
