Let it Snow
by InvalidJoker
Let it Snow changes rain on the client into snowfall, so a rainy day looks like a winter scene.
What it does
The mod swaps rainfall for snow in the client's view, turning weather into a winter landscape. The change is cosmetic and happens only on the player's own screen. It is client-side only, so a server does not need it and players can join without installing anything. The source is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and Fabric files cover 1.20 – 1.21.10 across 17 release versions, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.10 as the latest.
Key features
Rain replaced by snow
Rain falls as snow on the client, so a rainy day shows snowfall instead.
Permanent winter option
A setting keeps snow falling, giving a cozy snowy landscape that does not depend on the weather.
No gameplay effect
The snow is only visual and does not change gameplay, so it sits alongside the usual play on servers.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
