PerfTriage

PerfTriage watches a server's tick time without interfering with ordinary play. It keeps windowed statistics covering average, 95th percentile and maximum MSPT, and when sustained spikes cross its thresholds it writes a focused report instead of running a heavy profiler all the time, so evidence remains after the lag has passed. Reports are written asynchronously, and dumps are throttled by a cooldown and a hard scan budget so the capture itself adds little load.

The mod names the chunks that look most suspicious, because local concentrations of entities or block updates often cause lag even when global load looks ordinary. After a lag event it recovers automatically and resumes watching. PerfTriage does not replace full profilers such as spark; it answers the first question, whether something is wrong and in which area, and spark can then be used for deeper profiling of that area. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge on 1.21.4 only, and it is server-side only, so players join without installing it.
