What it does

Only the client needs Trails, which draws custom paw prints, particles, lines and ribbons trailing behind the player as they walk, on Fabric or NeoForge. Players can adjust the trail from its settings screen, opened with the K key by default or rebound under Options, Controls, Key Binds, Trails. Only the client needs it, so servers run without it. Builds cover 26.1 – 26.3 and the mod is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source.

  1. Paw print trails

    Paw prints are left behind the player as they walk, giving a cute trail effect.

  2. Customizable particles and lines

    Particles, lines and ribbons can be adjusted to change the look of the trail.

  3. Settings screen

    A settings screen, opened with the K key by default, controls the trail options and can be rebound in Key Binds.

No. Players add it to their own game, and a server needs no copy.

How is the trail setting opened?
