Patchwork | Building Blocks adds missing block variants for stone, deepslate, granite, diorite, andesite, calcite, tuff and dripstone, filling gaps left by the vanilla blocksets.
What it does
Most of the content is new variants of existing building materials: walls, polished forms, tiles, shingles and pillars for stone, plus chiseled, brick and tile forms for several stone types. Deepslate gets shingles and pillars, while calcite, tuff and dripstone each receive a full set of polished, brick, chiseled, tile, shingle and pillar blocks. Smooth sandstone variants and a set of new paintings are included as well.
The mod also covers other families such as cracked bricks and packed snow, and adds new shingle blocks. Because the blocks are new placeable items, players who want to find recipes can pair the mod with JEI. The server and every player need the mod installed. Forge and NeoForge are supported for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the latest files are 1.4 for 1.20.1 and 2.1 for 1.21.1. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.
