Party System
by okuyama
Party System, a NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1, lets players form a party, chat within it and follow each member's health and active effects on a configurable HUD.
What it does
Any player can create a party and invite others. Invitations can be accepted or declined, and unwanted invites can be blocked. When the party owner leaves, leadership passes to another member automatically. Party chat runs alongside global chat, with a switch between the two, and party messages carry a Group prefix and a highlight so they stand out.
The party HUD shows each member's head, name, health bar and active effects. Effect icons blink shortly before they expire, as the vanilla HUD does. The HUD can be dragged with the mouse or moved with the arrow keys, rows can be set to static or dynamic, and the whole panel can be hidden. Friendly-fire protection keeps party members from harming each other, and tamed animals such as horses are covered by the same protection against allied attacks.
The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files exist for NeoForge only, for Minecraft 1.21.1, with 1.0.4 as the latest file, published on 2026-06-02 after a first release on 2026-04-30. Interface text is available in English and Russian.
