Open Loader
Owner not published
Open Loader lets data packs and resource packs apply globally across every save file in a game instance, so one pack reaches all worlds.
What it does
Packs placed in the mod's folder load for every save, not only the world they were added to. Mod packs and servers can use this to set custom recipes and other features for mods that read data packs, and to change textures, override tooltips and adjust other aspects of the game.
Open Loader requires Bookshelf, Fabric API and Prickle. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 24 release versions, 1.14.4 – 1.21.1, and both client and server need it. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only.
Key features
Global pack loading
Resource packs and data packs are applied to every world in one instance rather than one world at a time.
Recipes and features for mods
Mod packs and servers can define custom recipes and other features for mods that read data packs.
Texture and tooltip changes
Packs can change textures, override tooltips and alter other parts of the game's presentation.
Load order for new mods
Packs from mods added after the first world load load after earlier packs in that world, and the vanilla data pack command can reorder them per world.
