Oozing Magma changes what the Oozing effect spawns: Magma Cubes in the Nether instead of slimes, on Fabric and Quilt servers.
What it does
Oozing Magma is a micro mod that makes the Oozing potion effect spawn Magma Cubes instead of slimes. Players who carry the effect into the Nether see Magma Cubes appear in place of slimes, and the mod treats the Nether as an ultrawarm dimension when it decides what to spawn. A game rule controls whether the behavior is active, and a configurable chance lets Oozing summon Magma Cubes in the Overworld as well.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. It works with server compatibility and with client-side compatibility, and it adds optional dimension compatibility for other worlds. The code is open source under the MIT License. Builds exist for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11, with 1.0.1 for 1.21.11 as the latest file on Fabric and Quilt, published 2026-02-12 on the alpha channel.
