No more recipes
With No more recipes installed, the Recipe Book stops listing recipes, so a player crafts from memory with a cleaner crafting screen.
What it does
The mod removes recipes from the Recipe Book, so the book stays empty even after a recipe is learned and new items are found. The crafting screen loses the extra icons the book normally adds, while the standard game interface and its controls remain in place. Crafting itself still works, since every recipe can still be made by hand.
Players who want a clean UI and a memory-based style of play, such as Hardcore or Realism playthroughs, can use it to stop the game from showing how to craft each item. It also suits modpacks where the Recipe Book feels too cluttered. Because it only changes what the book displays, it does not affect game performance in any measurable way the author describes. Installation needs Fabric API on Fabric. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 9 release versions, 1.17.1 – 1.21.8, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.
Key features
Empty Recipe Book
The Recipe Book shows no entries, including recipes the player has already found in play.
Vanilla crafting screen
The crafting screen keeps the standard layout and drops the extra icons the book adds.
Crafting still possible
Every recipe can still be crafted by hand, with the book only hiding the guide.
Memory-based play
Players must learn recipes themselves, which suits Hardcore and Realism playstyles.
