No Sun
by mrqx0195
No Sun removes the sun from the Overworld, so the sky stays at night for every player on the server.
What it does
Once installed, the mod keeps the Overworld in permanent night, and time-related mechanics from vanilla and other mods still advance as normal. A game rule turns the mod's functionality off when a world needs daylight again. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 1.0.0 as the latest file.
Key features
Permanent night
The Overworld sky stays dark, with no sun, while day-dependent systems keep counting time.
Game rule switch
A game rule disables the mod's effect, which returns the Overworld to normal daylight cycles.
Open source
The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, so modpacks and servers can include it under those terms.

What the author says
A simple mod that removes the sun from the Overworld. This mod removes the sun from the sky – unlike other "permanent night" mods, it preserves the normal day/night cycle... or shall we say, the cycle of "moonlit nights" and "moonless nights"?
