ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.16.5 – 1.21.1

What it does

Nether's Cruelty requires Nether's Exoticism and runs on Forge and NeoForge. Both the server and every player need it. Builds cover 1.16.5 – 1.21.1, and the latest files are 1.1.0 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 1.1.0 for 1.21.1 on NeoForge, both dated 2026-05-10. The code is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

The addon brings in the Moloch mob, which can be hunted for Moloch Steak as loot. Moloch Eggs and Moloch Meat are both cooked and consumed, and their recipes grant Haste and Fire Resistance respectively. Players who enjoy a light, slightly absurd food addition will find that the mod is mostly a joke at the expense of the hunt, with a playful nod to the Furti Two equivalent of cooking an axolotl.

Key features

  1. Moloch mob

A Moloch can be hunted, and it drops Moloch Steak as loot when killed.

  2. Moloch Eggs

Moloch Eggs are cooked and eaten, and their recipe grants the Haste effect.

  3. Moloch Meat

Moloch Meat is cooked and eaten, and its recipe grants Fire Resistance.

  4. Cutting recipes

Cutting recipes work with Farmer's Delight, so the mod's food can be made at its crafting station.
