Nethelurgy
by SkellaTex
Nethelurgy is a Forge world generation mod for 1.20.1 that adds new ores and metal-working content to the Nether and Overworld, centered on a metal called Tungsten.
What it does
The mod extends mining progression past the vanilla Nether by adding two new resources. Tungsten is the central material: it can be found in the Nether and used to craft tier equipment that sits between iron and diamond, and its fire resistance is the main reason it is used. Ignite serves as the main fuel for a group of fire-based items, among them Blaze Powder, the Powder Firebomb, and a TNT variant that sets fire to blocks and creatures.
Other additions include a tungsten knife, a tungsten bolt crate, and a new crossbow projectile crafted from tungsten tool and armor parts that makes the shot immune to fire. Potions that give the wither effect are part of the set, and a new treasure enchantment smelts mined blocks automatically. The Overworld gains two new ores, one of them found among Nether basalt, iron and blackstone, and diamond ore generation is expanded.
Nethelurgy works with Farmer's Delight and with recipes for crushed raw tungsten, raw tungsten bricks, a hoe for harvesting, and raw tungsten nuggets. It is a Forge-only build for 1.20.1, released under All rights reserved, and it must be installed on both the server and every player's client.

How it compares
Many Additional Ores is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 under the MIT License that is not open source, and it adds ores without tungsten-based gear. More Ores! is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only and covers 1.20.1 – 1.20.4, so its range is narrower than the one Super Simple Nether Ores offers, which is All rights reserved and only for 1.20.1.
