Nauticlysm

by Anas099

Nauticlysm adds nautilus mobs that live in ocean biomes, including coral reef variants, and that drop shells when defeated.

FabricForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalAll rights reserved1.20.2 – 1.20.4

What it does

Players find new nautilus mobs in ocean biomes, and the variants differ by biome. The classic nautilus drops a classic nautilus shell, while the coral reef nautilus drops colorful nautilus shells. A datapack included with the project adds six new nautilus mobs, and the mobs can be picked up with a water bucket by punching them, placed anywhere a player chooses.

The mod runs on Fabric, Forge and Quilt. The server needs it, while players may add it, so clients can join without the mod. Files exist for 1.20.2, 1.20.3 and 1.20.4, with the latest build for 1.20.4 dated 2024-02-13. The code is not open source and is released as All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Ocean nautilus variants

  2. Coral reef shells

  3. Bucket pickup

Nautilus mobs can be picked up with a water bucket by punching them, then placed anywhere a player wants.

A command is available for working with the nautilus mobs, and a datapack adds six more nautilus mobs to the game.
