Naked And Afraid is a Fabric server-side mod for Minecraft 1.21 that strips the game of several familiar conveniences, such as the totem of undying and in-game chat.

What it does

The mod changes survival rules on the server. It can disable the totem of undying, switch off in-game chat messages and stop players from killing each other. It also enables the vanilla reducedDebugInfo gamerule, which hides the F3 coordinates. Armor can still take damage as usual, and the F5 perspective button lets a player peek further around corners.

Fabric API is required, and the mod is built for Fabric only, with files for Minecraft 1.21. Because it is server-side only, players join without installing anything. Existing worlds can receive the mod by running a command. The configuration options are in the game rules section of the Miscellaneous settings, under Enable Naked Afraid. The mod is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
