by Myxini55

Myxini's Mobs adds 15 new creatures to Forge for 1.20.1, each modeled on a vanilla mob with its own drops and foods.

What it does

Each of the 15 new mobs is based on a vanilla creature, so the additions look familiar at a glance, but each one brings different drops, features and uses. Several of them can be crafted into brand-new items. The mob set covers the Nether, the End, stony and snowy biomes, and taiga forests.

Spookfish spawn in Soul Sand Valley and move in large schools. Their drops are a food source for crossing the Nether, especially when combined with other food. Chorochs spawn in the End Highlands and Midlands and can be bred with chorus fruit to yield a unique liquid that is milked. Gallolith spawn in stony and windswept biomes; being made of stone, it is inedible, but it has a use when kept around. Icecaps spawn in ice and frozen biomes, shed scutes when harvested with a pickaxe, and can carry much larger creatures. Shiverhogs spawn in snowy plains and taigas and breed with Frigid Truffles.

Only the client needs nothing extra, because the mod runs on both sides: the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge only, with 3.1 for 1.20.1 as the latest build, and the code is under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
