#MyServer

by encode42

#MyServer lets a player set up a preferred server connection that sits at the front of the main menu, instead of hunting through the server list.

FabricClient-side onlyMozilla Public License 2.0Open source26.2

What it does

The configured server is shown prominently on the title screen, so the player can join it in one click. Server resource packs are accepted automatically by default when joining, which removes the prompt that normally appears. Modpacks tied to one specific server can use this to keep the connection path predictable, since the behavior of that server is known in advance.

A second server can still be reached through the regular multiplayer menu, which remains accessible through its magnifying glass button. Server owners who only want players to connect to their server can turn off the Singleplayer button in the configuration, for as long as they need. The mod is published for Fabric only, for game version 26.2, and it is client-side only, so servers do not need it. The source code is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and the project is open source.

Key features

  1. Front-and-center server button

The configured server is placed prominently on the main menu for a direct join.

  2. Automatic resource pack acceptance

Server resource packs are accepted by default, so the join prompt no longer appears.

  3. Singleplayer button control

A config option can switch off the Singleplayer button for a period, which suits servers that only accept multiplayer.

  4. Safe config overwriting

Overwriting the config file is safe, so a player modifying it does not break the setup.

Use cases

Modpack distribution

A modpack built around one server can send players straight into it, with the server behavior already known.

Who it’s for: Players who join one main server often, and server owners or modpack makers who want a fixed connection path from the title screen. The mod does not need to be installed on the server.
