Myped is a Forge survival mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that combines many gameplay ideas into one mod in place of a full modpack.
What it does
The mod bundles a survival experience built around a single story and a world that grows harder with the player. Monsters become stronger the longer a player stays alive, and the player starts with only seven hearts. Darkness matters: without a light source, the world is hard to see. Backpacks and other new items add convenience without breaking the balance of the game.
Myped also adds a magic-leaning setting with unusual mechanics and no industrialization, along with a giant End portal visible in the sky that ties into the lore. It runs on client and server together, so the server and every player need it. Forge is the only loader with files, and the latest file, 5.0, was released on 2025-12-20.
Its source code is available under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, so the code is open source and add-ons may use it freely with credit to the authors. Kuwma leads development, and the community contributes over half of the content, while Neozz contributed concept art.
