MusicPower
With MusicPower, players can change how the sound plays when a player buff is applied, and the feature works alongside sound-effect mods such as AddurDisc.
What it does
MusicPower customizes the sound that plays when a player buff takes effect. It runs on both client and server, so the server and every player need it. Forge files cover 1.19 – 1.20.1, with version 1.2 for 1.20.1 as the latest release, published on 2024-06-25. The code is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Buff sound customization
Changes the sound that plays when a player buff is applied, instead of the default effect sound.
Buff effect audio
Replaces the default audio cue of a buff with the sound chosen in the mod, so each buff can be told apart by ear.
Sound pairing with AddurDisc
Plays alongside the sound effects of AddurDisc, so buff sounds and disc sounds can be heard together.
