Much More Dungeons
With Much More Dungeons installed, a surface tower dungeon stands as a visible landmark somewhere in the overworld, ready for players to find while they explore.
What it does
Much More Dungeons generates a handcrafted tower dungeon on the surface of the overworld. Rather than hiding its rooms underground, the tower is meant to be seen from a distance, so exploring players can spot it and head toward it. The structure uses the jigsaw system and appears across several overworld biomes, placed naturally into the generated terrain. Chests inside contain loot and rare rewards, and the rewards are tuned around survival progression, so the dungeon suits players in the early to mid game.
Requires Fabric API and Jauml. Both are needed on Fabric; Jauml is required on Forge and NeoForge as well. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge cover 8 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.2, and the code is under the Apache License 2.0, which makes the project open source and permits use, changes and redistribution within its conditions.
Key features
Surface tower dungeon
A tower dungeon sits on the surface of the overworld and is placed as a visible landmark for exploration.
Handcrafted layouts
Each dungeon uses a fixed, hand-built layout, so the rooms and route are the same wherever the structure spawns.
Loot across the dungeon
Loot and rare supplies are placed throughout the tower, rewarding players who work through each floor.
Multiple biome support
The structure generates in several overworld biomes, so players can find it in more than one kind of terrain.
