Mount Opacity
With Mount Opacity, a player who is riding a mount can set how transparent that mount looks, so the view ahead or below stays clear.
What it does
The opacity setting applies only to the entity the player is riding, and only to supported entities; other players and other entities are not changed. Each supported entity can be set individually from 0% to 100%. Fabric, NeoForge and Ornithe builds are published, with Fabric API, Mod Menu, OneConfig and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) required on Fabric. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and runs client-side only.
Key features
Per-entity opacity
Each supported mount has its own opacity value, adjustable from 0% to 100%.
Rider-only effect
The transparency applies to the mount the player rides and leaves other players' mounts unchanged.
Large mounts in view
Useful for large mounts that fill much of the screen, where transparency keeps the terrain visible.
