More Mob Drops (Fabric)
More Mob Drops gives neutral mobs such as goats and bats a food or item drop when they are killed, which vanilla Minecraft leaves out.
What it does
Several mobs in the base game die without dropping anything, and players who hunt them for food come away empty-handed. This Fabric mod changes that for neutral mobs: when one is killed, it drops an item that players would expect from that animal, such as meat from a goat or from a bat.
The mod is server-side only, so only the server needs it and players join without installing anything. It adds no new blocks, items or recipes, and it does not change how the drops already in the game behave. Files are published for Fabric, for 1.17.1, under the MIT License, and the project is not open source. The author notes a planned config option that would let server owners choose which mob drops what, and a later port to Forge.
