More And Ore, by Raphael, is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 that expands ore progression with new metals, tools, armor, weapons and bosses in the mid and late game.
What it does
Progression starts with ores and items in the vanilla range and continues past iron tools and armor. Players can find other ores and metals, then craft tools, equipment and weapons of equivalent tier. The new content grows in power step by step, and the author suggests going into the Amber Layer with full iron armor, shields and iron weapons.
The Amber Layer begins at y0 and is sealed off from the surface, so reaching the Deepslate Caverns below requires diamond tools. Access to the Amber Lord needs the Kismet boss to be defeated, which is summoned with an Amber Chalice. Once the Amber Lord is trusted, a curio item opens the remaining content. Mobs and bosses such as Bahamat, Narchisse and the Demon Queen are part of the mod's own set.
The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It requires Curios API and Geckolib. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 5.4.2 as the latest file. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
