Mo Flowers
by Bichal
Mo Flowers, published by Bichal, adds new flowers, shrubs and decorative blocks to the world, along with the mechanics that go with them.
What it does
New plants generate naturally in specific biomes, so a world gains flower species such as lavenders, calendulas, foxgloves and hebeas, along with wildflowers and aquatic plants. Several species have open and closed states. Berry bushes produce sweet blue glowing berries that are harvested as food and attract animals. Decorative blocks include petals, pots and tall variants for customizing rooms and gardens. A Flowers Chest accepts only mod items, which keeps a floral collection organized.
The mod also exposes a public API for modders and datapack creators. Other mods and datapacks can register compatible flowers and related blocks, and read detailed flower data through the API package, which is documented with JavaDocs. Biome generation, custom rendering for loot drops and English and Spanish localisation are part of the package. Mo Flowers targets Fabric only, with a single build for 1.21.5 released as 0.0.1-BETA on the beta channel. It runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code is publicly available.
