What it does

Enchantments in the mod are listed with descriptions, and each one can be tuned in the mod's configuration. A config file named moenchantment overrides.json changes most enchantment settings, and its values take priority over entries in moenchantconfig.json, so a server owner who dislikes the default settings can adjust the balance without editing the other file.

The mod runs on the client and the server, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric and Quilt, for the three game versions 1.19.2, 1.19.3 and 1.19.4, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Its first file was published on 2023-02-11 and the latest update is dated 2023-03-15.

Key features

  1. Sixteen-plus enchantments

The mod introduces more than sixteen enchantments, each with a distinct effect rather than a variation of a vanilla one.

  2. Tool-specific enchantments

Enchantments apply to shovels, axes, pickaxes and swords, so each tool type gains its own options.

  3. Alpha Fire and Curse End

Two named enchantments, Alpha Fire and Curse End, are among the additions, and their descriptions are shown in the mod.

  4. Configurable balance

Most enchantment settings can be overridden per server or per world through the overrides file.
