ModernTools

by BuggiestStudios

ModernTools is a Fabric bundle of several small client-side utilities, combined into one package with optional settings for each.

What it does

Instead of installing several separate utility mods, a player can add ModernTools and get a set of common quality-of-life features in a single file. The bundle draws on modified forks of the projects it includes, so the parts are built to work together inside one mod file rather than as separate installs that could conflict.

Each feature can be switched on or off and tuned through Mod Menu and Cloth Config, which keeps the bundle usable without touching the individual parts a player does not need. The author lists the original authors of the bundled projects in the mod description, and asks anyone whose code should be removed to open an issue on the GitHub Issues page.

The mod is published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.21.11, and is released under the MIT License as open source. Its source code is public, and it changes nothing on a server, so only the client needs it.

Key features

  1. Bundled utilities

Several separate quality-of-life features are combined into one mod instead of being installed one by one.

  2. Cubes Without Borders

One of the bundled features is Cubes Without Borders, drawn from a forked project listed by the author.

  3. Quick Pack and Fast Quit

Bundled shortcuts such as Quick Pack and Fast Quit speed up common actions in the interface.

  4. Language Reload

A bundled option reloads the language files without restarting the game, so resource changes show quickly.

  5. Toggleable settings

Each bundled feature can be turned on or off and configured through Mod Menu and Cloth Config.
