MLEM API
by Juniper
MLEM API is a Juniper library for building mods that run on Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt from one codebase.
What it does
MLEM API is a lightweight wrapper over the Fabric and NeoForge APIs, so a developer can write one multiloader mod instead of separate versions. The project ships with a starting template that developers can copy and modify as a base for their own mods, and the wiki documents the features and how to implement them. Players do not use the library directly; it is a dependency for other mods, and Vanilla Notebook is listed as requiring it. It has no other dependencies.
Files cover game version 26.1.2 only, with the latest 0.1.1 build published on 2026-04-19 in the beta channel for each loader. Either side can run it, and neither needs it, and the code is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, so it is open source. Source code and a wiki are linked from the project.
