MineWorld, a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.18.2, adds new ores, tools, armor, weapons, mobs and a biome to the world.
What it does
A new ore set arrives with its own tools, including Emerald, Blood Diamond and emerald dust ore that can be turned into emeralds. Armor from the mod is made to be roughly twice as strong as netherite, and its materials cost about twice as much to gather, so it sits above the vanilla tier. Katanas come in variants, and the emerald katana attacks at 2 attack speed with the same damage as a normal sword.
Worldgen is expanded with new mobs, a new biome called Orange Oak Forest, and new generation for the added materials. The Orange Oak Forest looks like a normal oak forest except for the orange color of its trees. Deep dark poppies spawn in groups of three in deep slate, and a trophy can be brought back after conquering the darkness.
The mod is published for Forge only, for 1.18.2, with 1.0.2 as the latest file, released 2023-04-12. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.
