Mineralized

by Archived Mods

Mineralized, a Forge and NeoForge mod, adds a large set of new minerals, along with tools, weapons, armor and blocks made from them.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 1.21.5

What it does

The mod extends the ores vanilla Minecraft already has, such as the standard ores for common metals and gems, with a number of new minerals including ruby, gabbro, tin and chrysocolla. Tools, armor and weapons are made from the new materials, and blocks are added alongside them. Pumice is a crafted material, and a volcanic glass can be made from it. Unlike other glass types, volcanic glass does not block light and does not emit light level like tinted glass.

Two portal-related items are also part of the mod. Sunstone and moonstone are obtained from precious gems, and each block is used to build a frame that opens a portal to another planet. A sunstone frame lit with hot citrine leads to Venus, and a moonstone frame lit with cold sapphire leads to Uranus.

The mod runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across four game versions: 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4 and 1.21.5, with 0.2.0.3 as the latest file for each loader. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. New minerals and ores

Ruby, gabbro, tin, chrysocolla and other minerals are added to the ores that vanilla already provides.

  2. Tools, weapons and armor

Gear is crafted from the new minerals, so each material has its own set of tools, weapons and armor.

  3. Volcanic glass

Pumice is crafted into volcanic glass, which lets light through without blocking it.

  4. Planet portals

Sunstone and moonstone portal frames, lit with hot citrine or cold sapphire, open routes to Venus and Uranus.

How it compares

Full comparison

Armor, Ores, and More adds armor and ores too, but it is published for a wider range of versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.10, and also runs on client and server. Mine Mineral is client-side only, so servers run without it, and it covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.4. Minerals & Such is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license and has files for 1.20.1 only.

What the author says

Welcome to Mineralized! This mod adds a ton of new minerals, tools, weapons, armor, and blocks. Since this mod has so many gems, think of this mod as a sequel to another mod named "Ancient Gems". Please note that the quality of the textures are not the best, as I am not an artist when it comes to Minecraft textures…
