Mine Coins adds a coin economy to Forge 1.20.1 in which players forge metal coins step by step through a blacksmithing process, instead of crafting them in one recipe.

What it does

Where most currency mods rely on simple crafting recipes or automated ATM blocks, Mine Coins replaces that with a forging sequence. Each coin is made in stages at the forge, so the metal used and the order of work both matter. The content covers ore coins across several tiers, from a copper coin up to a netherite coin.

The mod is installed on the client and on the server, so both need it for the coins and their recipes to work. It is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, with version 0.1.1 as the latest file released on 2026-01-22. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.
