Mine Gear Rising: Revengeance brings weapons inspired by Metal Gear Rising to Minecraft, with Murasama, Bloodlust and several blades that work as in-game equipment.

What it does

The mod recreates some tools and armors from the game Metal Gear Rising, developed by Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames, and adds them as equipment. Each weapon works in play, and the blades come with their theme music. Murasama, Bloodlust, HF Blade, Dystopia, L'Etranger and Nano Machines are the weapons listed by the author, and more armors and weapons are planned, possibly with bosses.

Twilight Lib is required, so it has to be installed alongside the mod. Better Combat is optional and is supported as well. With Better Combat present, Murasama can be deactivated by removing the off-hand slot the mod uses, because the secondary slot holding a two-handed weapon makes Murasama read it as air. The author recommends pairing the mod with the Epic Fight datapack for a better experience.

Mine Gear Rising: Revengeance runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It targets Forge and NeoForge across seven release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.21.1, and the latest files are 1.1.4.1 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 1.1.4.1 for 1.21.1 on NeoForge, both on the beta channel. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Commands for configuration and help are available through mgrr help.
