Métropolis.

by Dovecot

Métropolis adds urban railway transit pieces to Minecraft, including ticket vendor machines, IC cards and station platform blocks, and it works on Fabric and needs MTR.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.18.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Its ticket system lets a player buy a single-trip IC card from a ticket vendor machine, so trips on the railway network are paid for inside the world. Rotatable bumpers and buffers, decorative monitors and security cameras fill out the stations, and platform blocks come with the station decoration set.

The mod is built on top of MTR 4.0.3 and later, which it needs loaded to function. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Fabric only, across four game versions 1.18.2 – 1.20.1, and the 0.7.1-beta build targets 1.20.1. The source code is open source under the MIT License, and the issue tracker is public for bug reports.

Key features

  1. Ticket vendor machines

A vendor machine sells single-trip IC cards, giving players a way to pay for railway travel.

  2. IC card tickets

Players hold IC cards that record a single trip, so ticket use stays inside the transit system.

  3. Rotatable railway parts

Bumpers, buffers and decorative monitors can be rotated to fit the layout of a station or yard.

  4. Station platform blocks

Platform objects are included with the station decorative blocks for building urban stops.
