With MenuFPSUnlocker, the title screens and pause menus no longer cap the frame rate at a low fixed value, which removes the lag players see there.
What it does
The mod raises the frame rate of the main menu. Older game versions from 1.7.x to 1.12.2 start near 30 fps on that screen, and the mod lifts it toward 60 fps, while 1.15.x to 1.20.x get a 120 fps target. It runs on the client alone, so only the player who installs it sees the change and servers need nothing.
Builds cover 1.7 – 1.20.6 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt and Legacy Fabric, and the code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, so it is open source. Forge builds for 1.8.x to 1.11.x depend on MixinBooter. Snapshot builds are published alongside the release files.
