Mcards
by Miraak0
Mcards adds collectible trading-style cards to Forge, and each card gives the player a magical effect when used.
What it does
Players collect cards that carry spells, traps, summons, totems and world effects. Spell Cards fire instantly for an immediate result, and some give temporary boosts in combat. Trap Cards stay in the inventory and trigger on their own when a set condition is met, such as low health with enemies close by. Totem Cards react to the player's death, offering either a revival or a strike against nearby enemies.
Summon Cards bring entities into the world to fight alongside the player, and their behaviour can be hard to predict. World Cards change the surroundings directly, altering weather, terrain or nearby structures. Permanent Cards are not single-use, so a card of this kind stays available across several uses. Mcards runs on Forge 1.20.1 and needs to be present on both client and server, since the environment is client and server.
