What it does

Maple Tree introduces three maple sapling colors that grow into trees with maple logs, leaf blocks and wood building blocks, including boats and signs. Maple leaves drop as fallen leaves in the color of their tree, and the new Maple Forest biome brings together all three colors next to autumn-colored oaks and several kinds of mushroom, giving the world an autumn atmosphere that stays close to vanilla.

A sap collector attaches to the side of a maple tree and releases sap that the player gathers into a bottle. A bottle of maple sap placed in a furnace turns into maple syrup, which is used in the new food recipes: Maple Toffee, Maple Cookie and Maple Pancake, with pancake and cake blocks also added. The mod requires TerraBlender for its biome generation and is published only for Forge on 1.20.1, where the latest file is 1.0.3, released on 2026-06-24. The server and every player need the mod installed. The source code is public under the MIT License, which makes the mod open source.
