Overworld Revived

by Foxbat Studios

Overworld Revived, a Forge world generation mod for 1.20.1, adds new biomes to the overworld, among them Redwood Forests, Iris Fields and Maple Forests.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

The mod is a vanilla-like biome pack that places its new biomes into the normal overworld generation, so they appear in newly generated terrain alongside the default ones. Its biomes include Redwood Forests, Iris Fields, Maple Forests and features such as Hot Springs, each with its own surface and plant life.

Overworld Revived requires TerraBlender, which handles how the added biomes are registered into world generation. Because the mod is listed for Forge only, it needs a Forge installation for 1.20.1 and TerraBlender alongside it. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and the mod is published for 1.20.1 only.

Foxbat Studios publishes Overworld Revived under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. The latest Forge file is 1.0.1, released 2024-12-31, and the project keeps a public issue tracker for bug reports.
