MalisisSwitchesReborn

MalisisSwitchesReborn is an unofficial modern re-imagination of the classic MalisisSwitches mod, adding simple wireless redstone switches, sensors and relays.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

The mod brings the switch and sensor blocks of the original MalisisSwitches mod to newer versions, and aims to keep the original feel of the blocks. Switches work like vanilla levers, while a Player Sensor reacts to nearby players. Relays take power from linked switches and sensors and output a standard redstone signal, so they can drive ordinary circuits.

Redstone current is sent between blocks without wires. A Power Linker connects a switch or sensor to the blocks that should receive power, and relays can be chained the same way. Equipping the Power Linker shows links as green when powered and red when not, and the 1.0.3 release refreshes the textures and shows the current redstone power level on relays. The mod requires external core libraries and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11 and 26.1.2, and the code is licensed under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Wall switch and light switch

A compact wall-mounted switch and a light switch toggle redstone current at a fixed position.

  2. Player Sensor

A sensor that outputs power when a player comes within a set distance of it.

  3. Wireless linking with Power Linker

Right-click a switch or sensor, then the blocks to power, and sneak-click a linked block to unlink it.

  4. Relays

Relays receive power from linked switches and sensors and output a standard redstone signal.

  5. Power level display

Relays show the current redstone power level, and links appear green when powered and red when unpowered.
