MalisisDoorsReforged
by SOLEA PIXEL
MalisisDoorsReforged brings the animated doors of the original Malisis Doors mod to modern Minecraft, with new animations and a way to build custom doors.
What it does
The mod is a community port of Malisis Doors, maintained by SOLEA PIXEL on top of the Malisis Block and Malisis Switch projects. The original work is credited to Ordinastie, and adaptations for modern versions are credited to Mickdev. Because the original mod depends on APIs that have since changed, some animations match the original closely while others behave slightly differently, and the author states that effort went into reproducing the original experience as closely as possible.
Players can place doors that open with animation and can build their own door designs, with a large number of possible combinations. The mod runs on Fabric and NeoForge across 11 release versions 1.21.1 – 1.21.11, and it is released under the MIT License but is not open source. It needs both the server and every player to have it installed. Fabric builds need Fabric API, and the latest Fabric file is 1.0.2 for 1.21.1, dated 2026-06-17, while the latest NeoForge file is 1.0.4 for 1.21.1, dated the same day. The project was first published on 2026-06-10.

1.21.x11 of 11 versions with builds

Use cases
Decorating builds
Animated doors give houses, castles and other builds more detail than standard doors.
Server builds
Because the mod runs on client and server, a multiplayer server can offer the same doors to every player.
Who it’s for: Builders who want animated doors on Fabric or NeoForge, and server owners who run a modern 1.21 server and want the same door set for all players.
How it compares
GlassPaneDoors is a Fabric mod for 1.21.1 that runs on the client alone, under the MIT License, and is not open source.
