Mahoraga: Rebuild adds a Mahoraga Wheel to NeoForge worlds, an equipment item that learns from the attacks that hit its wearer.
What it does
The wheel analyzes each attack that damages its holder and records the damage type. Once enough damage of one kind has been taken, the wearer gains full invulnerability against that type, and the adaptation can be triggered deliberately through the active adaptation ability.
Potion and effect adaptation works the same way: the wheel tracks specific status effects that have been applied to the holder and progresses adaptation against them. The adaptation can also be reset when the wearer grows too strong, so the wheel is not permanently locked to one answer. Installation needs only NeoForge, and the mod runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for NeoForge across 11 release versions, the latest of which is 1.0.3 for 1.21.11, and the code is released under All rights reserved.

Damage type adaptation
Attacks of a given damage type raise adaptation progress, and enough of them grant invulnerability to that type.
Active adaptation
A keybound ability lets the wearer activate adaptation for a damage type once progress has been built up.
Status effect adaptation
Specific potion status effects advance adaptation, so repeated exposure to an effect builds resistance to it.
Adaptation reset
A reset command clears accumulated adaptation, and the wheel also resets itself when its holder becomes too strong.
Wheel cosmetic item
The Mahoraga Wheel item is received through the mod and works as a survival tool as well as a cosmetic piece.
