MadCat's Hitboxes
by MadCat__
MadCat's Hitboxes lets a Fabric client switch off the hitbox and look-vector outlines drawn for entities, players and Elytra flight.
What it does
The mod draws no collision outlines unless the player turns them on. Options cover a single entity type, entities in specific player states such as flying with Elytra or sneaking, the player's own hitbox, and the blue line that shows where an entity is looking. Rendering of individual hitboxes can be adjusted, and every option sits in a configuration screen reached through Fabric Mod Menu.
The mod needs Cloth Config API and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) to work. HitBox+ is an optional companion that is not required. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. It is published for Fabric only, for seven game versions 1.20.4 – 1.21.4, and the 1.2.0 build for 1.21.4 is the latest file. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
Key features
Per-entity hitbox toggle
Hitboxes can be switched off for a single entity type, so only the outlines the player wants remain visible.
State-based filtering
Hitboxes can be hidden for entities in states such as flying with Elytra or sneaking.
Own hitbox and look line
The player's own hitbox and the blue line showing an entity's look direction can each be turned off separately.
Custom rendering
Specific hitboxes can be customized in how they are rendered, and the settings are reached from Fabric Mod Menu.

Use cases
Clean screenshots
A player taking screenshots can hide hitbox outlines that would otherwise show in the frame.
Reduced visual clutter
Players in crowded areas can keep only the outlines they need while leaving the rest hidden.
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who see hitbox outlines they do not want and prefer to control which ones are drawn. It suits single-player and multiplayer clients alike, since it changes nothing on the server side.
How it compares
Better Hitboxes is a client-side Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.8 under All rights reserved, with no open source license. Diamond Hitbox works on both client and server for 1.20.1 – 1.21.8 and is also not open source. Combat Hitboxes is open source under the Apache License 2.0 for 1.19.3 – 26.3 and is client-side only, so it runs on a client alone just as MadCat's Hitboxes does.

This includes: - turn off the hitbox of any entity, including player states like flying with an Elytra or sneaking - turn off your own hitbox (I don't know why that's not already a Minecraft feature) - turn off the look vector (the blue…
